Our mission is to serve local communities by participating in selected performances that will lead to a greater appreciation of the traditional Spirituals, Anthems, and Sacred Classical Music. This religious choral organization is fully committed to supporting the educational pursuits of deserving students. Choral Arts West is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization.

Avery Robinson
Trombone
Avery Robinson earned her Master of Music degree at the University of Southern California and her bachelor's in music performance at Xavier University of Louisiana. At USC, she received the Robert Marsteller Memorial Endowed Music Award for trombone performance, and pursued her passion for arts administration as an orchestra office assistant. With a diverse background in art, dance, and music performance, she is a champion of the arts and is devoted to fostering racial equity in classical music spaces.

Solomon Leonard
Viola
Solomon Leonard is a 23-year-old Master of Music student at the USC Thornton School of Music. A versatile violist, his studies encompass Black American Music, West African folkloric traditions, and classical performance. In 2023, he won First Prize in the NANM Strings Competition. He has performed at the Grammy Awards and contributed to the Academy Award-winning short If Anything Happens I Love You.
